Children's Church / Sunday School

Providing a Biblical, age-appropriate learning environment for every child is the focus of our Children's ministries.  Our Sunday School program offers 2 yr - 3 yr., 4 yr. - K, 1st - 3rd Grade, and 4th - 6th Grade classes.  Each group is moving through faithful teaching that sets a foundation for a life of Scriptural learning.  Children's Church, which meets after the worship portion of the Morning Worship Service, allows 4 yr. olds - 3rd Graders to hear teaching aimed at their level.

Preschoolers are active learners. Our programs enable them to explore & discover truth from a Biblically-based curriculum.  The preschool years are highly productive. There is no other comparable span of life in which a person learns so fast. During this intellectually fruitful time, we begin the process of introducing children to concepts related to God. Our goal is to establish a foundation for faith upon which all of life can be built. We count it a blessing to participate in a preschooler's spiritual growth and development.

1st - 6th graders know that they too are special at Joy. The elementary years are vitally important in the physical, mental and spiritual development of a child. Realizing that the home is the center of a child's life, our ministry seeks to work hand-in-hand with parents to help them guide the spiritual growth of their children.

Children's Church & Sunday School are essential ongoing programs for children's Bible teaching. Each week, committed and loving Christian adults teach Biblical principles and practical applications through a variety of methods designed to encourage these young lives of faith.
